Who's running?
What to expect
Running! The first month is all about running – techniques, tips, and legendary running stories to get you prepped for Berlin’s cultural scene. At our Early Bird Run at Tempelhofer Feld, we’ll test the course (and its obstacles), so there’s nothing to trip us up in five months’ time.
Save the date! Things really get going on the last Sunday of April. Bring your best running shoes and meet your future community!
As you listen to the podcast while running through the city, Berlin's art history opens up to you and you get to know the most important players and most exciting places.
On this last Sunday, we pass a gallery and peek into a painter's studio. From the Pergamon to street art, hidden galleries and art in public spaces.
We'll walk onto the stage of the Staatsoper and have a ball at the iconic Quatsch Comedy Club.
After sport and art, let's move on to something more substantial: food!
Podcasts on topics like Berlin cuisine, star chefs and farmers from the surrounding area, the best restaurants, gourmet stores, markets, fine dining and finger food get our stomachs in the mood for the most appetizing cultural run of all time: Run the food mile!
From food trucks to wholesale markets, pop-up restaurants and popcorn machines, we taste everything!
Now let's hit the dancefloor! Music legends tell us weekly stories from Berlin's rich music history. DJs, conductors and composers give us new insights into the Berlin scene.
Unusual for a Sunday at 8am, but we're already hopping from disco to disco. From subway musicians to the world's best orchestra on your doorstep. We forget our worries and party through the morning hours.
After months of entertainment and physical exercise, we're really going all out with the big Berlinathon festival. Bring along your family (with kids!) and friends - everyone is welcome.
In six runs, we'll show off our new running skills. Timekeeping is strictly forbidden, but cheering is obligatory.
Expect some 36 stages, 11 podiums, 3000 artists and a competition for the most silliest live running photos and funniest running outfits.
It'll be the highlight of the year, and it won't be easy to say goodbye.
