Berlinathon

What happens if I don't stick to the training plan?

Not bad at all! You can decide for yourself how far you stick to your training plan. However, for the highest fun factor during the final runs, we recommend that you stick to your plan as much as possible.

How does it work with the training plans?

We will make an announcement about this soon. At the Berlinathon, it is essential that we find the right training plan for all ambitions and performance levels and set it up together with you.

Do I have to run the same route as my racing team?

No. You can choose your route completely individually.

Where are the routes of the cultural runs?

We will announce the exact routes in good time in advance. Until then, you can find out more at Program have a look at the stations.

How long are the cultural runs?

The exact routes will be announced to all participants in good time each month.

-But we can already reveal this much: they include several stations so that you can drop out at any time depending on your performance level. At the same time, we record everything so that you have the option of finishing the run on your own if you don't take part or drop out.

What happens if I don't complete a route?

That's no problem, we document all cultural runs and you can then run the route yourself and experience our pacemakers in re-live.

What happens if I'm late?

We are planning to set up a central WhatsApp group/channel where we will share a live location for each Kulturlauf.

What happens if I get injured during a cultural run?

We very much hope that this will not happen. People from the Berlinathon team take part in every race to support you. In addition, you are part of a racing team at the Berlinathon and never alone. In the worst-case scenario, you have to abandon the race.

Is the Berlinathon commercial?

No, the Berlinathon is a CSR initiative by the Tip Berlin Media Group and Quadriga Hochschule Berlin.

What happens to the income?

The proceeds finance the program and enable free admission to the festival on 14.09.

If there is a surplus at the end, it will be donated.

Is the Berlinathon being promoted?

No, only the two organizers Tip Media Group and Quadriga Hochschule are behind it.

Community process

What if none of my friends have time to come to the final festival?

That's not bad at all! Your racing stable friends are sure to bring enough.

How do I find my group?

If you have not registered together with your company or group of friends, we will put the groups together. This is done via a questionnaire that all participants have to fill out so that we can bring participants together based on where they live (as close together as possible) and their interests.

What if my group and I don't fit together?

We will send out a questionnaire before our onboarding event in April to make sure that we form the racing teams in the best possible way and create inspiring groups.

Racing stables? What was that again?

Racing stables are the groups of 15 that we are setting up for the Berlinathon. Together you will plan the monthly exploration trips, support each other and have a stand/stable at the Berlinathon Festival with all your friends.

How do I register my friends for the Berlinathon Festival?

If your friends want to run with you, they have to buy a start ticket for the Berlinathon Festival. If they just want to support you and have fun, they can come along for free - we promise!
