FAQ

Registration process

How can I register?

Quite simply under the item Registration on our homepage. Enter all your details, pay and everything you need to know will be sent to you by e-mail.

Who can take part?

All Berliners! Whether new, old or young Berliners - everyone can and should come!

Can I also take part on wheels?

But in any case.

Do I have to speak German to take part?

Absolutely not. Almost everything is available in German and English. The only exception: our podcast - most of it is in German.

Do I have to be sporty to have fun?

Sport is not murder for us, but our main aspect is culture! Running is great, but no one has ever said anything against a walk, have they?

What if I have to change my mind in the meantime?

Not bad at all!

Just write to us info@berlinathon.de and we will find a solution together!

Can I still purchase tickets for the program?

The official ticket sale for the program is unfortunately over. Currently, tickets are only available for the Grande Finale directly on our website.
But: If you still want to be part of the program (even if you've already missed a bit), just write us an e-mail - maybe we can still do something!

So much data. Do I really have to enter them all?

Yes, but don't worry, they are in safe hands with us. We only use the data for communication purposes.

What if I am already a tipBerlin or The Berliner subscriber?

Then you will receive either three issues of The Berliner if you are a tipBerlin subscriber or four tipBerlin issues if you are a The Berliner subscriber. Please let us know which magazines you would like when you buy.

Where are the routes of the cultural runs?

The exact route will be announced in advance by e-mail. Until then, you can register at Program have a look at the stations.

How long are the cultural runs?

We will announce the exact routes to all participants in good time each month. There is always a choice of routes, so there is something for every running level.

What happens if I don't complete a route?

That's no problem, we document all cultural runs and you can then follow the route yourself.

What happens if I get injured during a cultural run?

We very much hope that this will not happen. People from the Berlinathon team take part in every run to support you. In addition, you are never alone. In the worst-case scenario, you have to abandon the run.

Is the Berlinathon commercial?

No, the Berlinathon is a CSR initiative by the Tip Berlin Media Group and Quadriga Hochschule Berlin.

What happens to the income?

The proceeds finance the program and enable free admission to the festival on 14.09.

If there is a surplus at the end, it will be donated.

Is the Berlinathon being promoted?

No, only the two organizers Tip Media Group and Quadriga Hochschule are behind it.

To the cultural runs

In which language are the speeches held?

The speeches will be in German and English.

Are there facilities for moving on site?

Changing facilities are usually available, but are rather basic. We therefore recommend that you come in sportswear. Please always pay attention to the instructions we send by e-mail.

Is there a way to store rucksacks or bags safely?

There is usually a covered area where you can leave your rucksack. However, please leave your valuables safely at home or keep them with you while running, as we unfortunately cannot accept any liability. You will always receive detailed instructions by e-mail.

How will I be informed about the cultural events?

We communicate all details by e-mail. So always keep an eye on your inbox.

What exactly do the running routes look like?

Don't worry - there is a suitable route for every running level.

Community process

Racing stables? What was that again?

Racing stables are the groups we set up for the Berlinathon during the onboardings. Together you will plan the monthly exploration trips, support each other and have a stand/stable at the Berlinathon Festival with all your friends.

Can I register friends at a later date?

If you want to register friends later, that's no problem. Just send us an e-mail to info@berlinathon.de with your friend's e-mail address and we will send you a registration and payment link.
